The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, inaugurated the scientific conference on the National Day of the Erasmus Program, which was held on September 8-9. The conference program, which was attended by our university president, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Sarhan Muhammad Al-Ghazi, and held at the University of Baghdad, included a review of four major Erasmus programs implemented in Iraq, highlighting mechanisms for getting benefit from them to strengthen academic and research partnerships, develop joint diploma programs, attract visiting professors, and expand scientific and cultural exchange between Iraqi universities and their European counterparts.

The conference workshops were also attended by the Director of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at our university, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nada Sami Nasir, and the Head of the Erasmus Unit, Lect. Rand Majid Rasool.
