In reinforcement of the principle of cooperation between our university, official institutions, and civil society, and in implementation of the curriculum approved by the University Presidency, the Technical Engineering College at our university—in cooperation with the Ministry of Migration and Displaced, the Department of Law, and the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division—held a scientific and educational seminar titled (Illegal Migration and Effective Means to Address It) at exactly 9:00 AM on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, featuring the participation of:

The seminar, during which educational pamphlets on illegal migration were distributed, addressed the legal consequences associated with it and how to find effective solutions to curb it, most notably: (increasing awareness among youth—who are considered the group most vulnerable to it—regarding the issue of irregular migration, and encouraging them to remain attached to their homeland and not abandon or give it up no matter what happens, by focusing on development, providing job opportunities, and creating alternatives for legal migration; providing job opportunities for working youth and graduates; mobilizing resources to combat it; as well as international cooperation in providing awareness and training programs, joint efforts, and judicial prosecution of smugglers).
