In implementation of the curriculum prepared by the office of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, the Deanship of the College of Law—in cooperation with the Psychological and Educational Guidance Division and the Continuing Education Division at the university—organized a scientific symposium titled A Legal Reading of Law No. 1 of 2025 Amending the Iraqi Personal Status Law No. 188 of 1959 at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

It included a detailed explanation of the amended articles and the justifications behind them.
