The Dean of the College of Education at our university, Assistant Professor Dr. Nada Sami Nasser Al-Gawam, participated in a panel discussion titled The Role of Non-Governmental Research and Study Centers in Serving Public Policy and Government Institutions in Iraq, organized by the Department of Research and Studies at the Office of the Presidency of the Republic on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
The Chief of the Presidential Office, Mr. Kamil Kareem Al-Dulaimi, delivered a speech in which he reaffirmed the President of the Republic's support for research centers and their contributions to international affairs, foreign relations, and crisis management. He emphasized that "research and study centers are no longer mere academic accessories or administrative fronts; rather, they have become strategic tools in service of the state and society, enriching decision-making institutions with knowledge, offering evidence-based solutions, and anticipating crises to shape framework solutions before crises occur."
The panel discussion was attended by several officials, directors general, specialists, and heads of research centers.
