A practical firefighting and rescue exercise at our university
Our university hosted the Civil Defense teams in Al-Muthana Governorate to conduct a practical firefighting and rescue exercise within university facilities.The exercise lasted from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Haider Hassan Shatawi, a representative of the university, and the monitoring and security personnel. The Civil Defense team representatives included Brigadier General Alaa Zuhair, Assistant Director of Civil Defense, Brigadier General Salih Anad Faraj, and a group of officers and affiliates.
This exercise was part of the Prime Minister's directives and the follow-up of the Minister of Interior and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to ensure the protection of public and private facilities and the protection of community members from accidents and emergencies.
