An expanded seminar for the teaching and administrative staff at the College of Engineering Technology
In implementation of the curriculum prepared by our university presidency for the new academic year, the Office of the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs held an expanded seminar for the teaching and administrative staff at our university's College of Engineering Technology. The seminar took place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025, in the college's scientific conference hall.
The seminar's curriculum included lectures presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Safaa Mustafa Al-Janabi, the Scientific Assistant of the University President, and Prof. Dr. Haider Hassan Shatawi, the Dean of the College of Law. These lectures included several topics, most notably:
- The rights, duties, and obligations of the instructor under the contract concluded with the university.
- The tasks of scientific publication in internationally ranked and peer-reviewed journals.
- Striving to ensure quality and participating in activities within and outside the university to serve the community.
- Successful methods for delivering lectures and the instructor's appearance.
- The instructor's relationship with students.
- Emphasizing the monitoring of daily student attendance and absence.
- The importance of participating in examination committees.
- The importance of being fully prepared to supervise assessment and joint examinations.
- Optimizing the use of academic communication through official emails and affiliations.
The seminar was attended by the dean of the college, department heads, rapporteurs, and faculty and administrative staff.
