The Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Safaa Mustafa Al-Janabi, inaugurated a scientific workshop on the Higher Education Student Information System (SIS) and the Human Resources (HR) System. The workshop was organized by the Information Systems Division at our university in cooperation with the Continuous Education Center, and took place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Attended by department heads and college rapporteurs across the university, the workshop included a detailed explanation of both the Student Information System (SIS) and the Human Resources (HR) System. It reviewed the approved mechanism for adding academic programs and courses for each college, outlined the permissions granted to the accounts of college deans, department heads, study rapporteurs, and college registrars, as well as the academic systems manager, while clarifying their respective roles.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Al-Janabi emphasized the importance of completing all requirements related to the Student Information System, highlighting it as one of the essential platforms for developing academic and administrative workflows at the university.
