The seminar addressed the intrinsic relationship between nutrition and biochemistry, highlighting nutrition as the primary source of essential substrates for biological processes, while biochemistry elucidates the pathways through which these compounds are converted into energy and vital molecules. The presentation demonstrated that maintaining a balance between nutritional elements and biochemical reactions within the human body serves as the cornerstone for preserving overall health and preventing chronic conditions such as obesity and diabetes.
Furthermore, the session emphasized the pivotal role of enzymes, vitamins, and minerals in supporting metabolic pathways, while exploring modern trends such as molecular nutrition and personalized medicine.
