The seminar emphasized that the abuse of drugs and psychotropic substances can cause severe detrimental effects on an individual's life. It highlighted that drug consumption impacts three primary regions of the brain: the brainstem, which connects the brain to the spinal cord and regulates essential bodily functions; the limbic system, which controls emotional responses; and the cerebral cortex, which governs higher-order functions including thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving, while also processing sensory input from the five senses.
