In implementation of the programme prepared by the Deanship of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, the Department of Anaesthesia Techniques, in cooperation with the University Psychological Counselling Unit and the Student Activities Unit, organised a scientific seminar entitled “An Introduction to Breast Cancer and the Latest Advances in Modern Screening and Personal Preventive Measures” at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, 6 December 2025.

The seminar addressed breast cancer, highlighting its status as one of the most common cancers among women worldwide. It also discussed the psychological impact of the disease on patients and their families.
Furthermore, the seminar presented the latest scientific developments in breast cancer diagnosis, including mammography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound examinations, modern genetic testing, and advanced biopsy techniques.
