The President of Sawa University, Professor Dr Aqeel Sarhan Mohammed Al-Ghazzi, inaugurated the Creativity and Innovation Festival organised by the Deanship of the College of Health and Medical Technologies at the university.
The festival programme featured a wide range of activities, including research projects, scientific achievements, student projects and innovations, as well as the development of electronic programmes that showcased students’ skills in designing modern systems and applications. The festival also featured artistic works in painting and calligraphy, displays of publications authored by academic staff and students, and an exhibition of traditional dishes and popular foods that beautifully reflected the creativity of female students and the diversity of their cultural backgrounds. In addition, handmade products and crafts highlighted students’ talents and their ability to transform ideas into practical creations.
The festival was attended by the University President’s Assistants for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr Turki Muftin Al-Aradhi, and for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr Safaa Mustafa Al-Janabi, as well as the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr Haider Hassan Shatawi.
The attendees praised the significant efforts made by the College administration, led by the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr Hassan Rahim Khudr, along with the College Council, academic staff, students, and employees, in organising the festival and showcasing the university’s commitment to fostering creativity and innovation.
