As part of strengthening cooperation between Sawa University and the Provincial Police Command, and in line with the commitment to developing the linguistic skills of security personnel and enhancing their proficiency in using the English language, a training workshop was held as part of the university’s community service activities for personnel of the Al-Salman District Police Directorate.
The workshop, entitled “Academic Support to Enhance the English Language Proficiency of Security Forces,” was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Fahad Wali Shiyal, a faculty member in the English Language Department at the College of Education.
The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ competence in everyday communication with the public, particularly in writing official reports, interacting with foreign nationals, and developing their ability to use English in practical situations relevant to the nature of security work.
