A Scientific Seminar on the Occasion of Iraqi Police Day
To commemorate the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Police, and in accordance with the program prepared by the Dean of the College of Education at our university, in cooperation with the Community Policing Directorate of the Provincial Police Command and the University's Departments of Psychological Counseling and Student Activities, a scientific seminar entitled "The Iraqi Police: Its Establishment and National Role" will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, January 11, 2026. The seminar will feature:
1- Prof. Dr. Ghanim Najib Abbas - Chairman.
2- Colonel Khalid Saeed Moussa - First Lecturer.
3- Lieutenant Mona Jawad Kadhim - Second Lecturer.
4- Lect. Mohammed Ahmed Ali Al-Fouadi - Rapporteur.
The seminar addressed the early stages of the establishment of the Iraqi police, its distinguished role in maintaining security and order in Iraq, and the sacrifices it made in consolidating security and stability, protecting society and preserving the rule of law, which reflected and continues to reflect a spirit of belonging and high professional commitment, and embodies the meanings of courage and dedication in serving the nation and its citizens.
