The University's Role in Promoting Humanitarian Awareness According to the Principles of the Red Crescent
Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Mudher Abdullah Al-Dhalimi, the President of Sawa Private University, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Sarhan, and the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Raheem Khadir, the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies, held a scientific seminar entitled "The University's Role in Promoting Humanitarian Awareness Among Students According to the Principles of the Red Crescent."
The seminar took place at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
The participants were:

The seminar addressed the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, its humanitarian principles, and its role in protecting people during conflicts and disasters. It also highlighted the role of the Iraqi Red Crescent in humanitarian and relief work. The seminar aims to promote humanitarian awareness among university students and encourage them to engage in volunteer work and community service.
