Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Mudhar Abdullah Al-Dhalimi, the President of Sawa Private University, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Sarhan, the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Rahim Khudr, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Lect. Dr. Diaa Yahya Aziz, the College of Health and Medical Technologies, through its Continuing Education Unit and in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Division – Laboratory Accreditation Unit, organized a training course entitled:
“Laboratory Management According to the Approved Guidelines for Quality Standards in Educational Laboratories”
The training course was held on Monday, April 20, 2026.
The course was delivered by:
- Asst. Lect. Athraa Hadi Abdul-Amir – Lecturer
- Lect. Dr. Zaidoun Hussein Mahdi – Lecturer
- Asst. Lect. Ahmed Sabouri Sajet – Lecturer
On its first day, the training course addressed the following topics:
- Presenting the concepts and requirements of educational laboratories.
- Understanding the management of technical affairs in laboratories, including personnel, supervisors, and staff.
- Presenting organizational aspects within laboratories, including laboratory design, security and safety requirements, record documentation, maintenance, and servicing.
The course aimed to provide comprehensive practical and scientific training for all laboratory demonstrators and staff members of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, enhancing their skills in laboratory management and contributing to the implementation of quality standards in educational laboratories.
