Educational Seminar on the Role of Students in Combating Drug and Psychotropic Substance Addiction

Sawa University, in cooperation with the Taafi Organization, organized an educational scientific seminar entitled “The Role of Students in Promoting and Strengthening a Culture of Combating Addiction to Drugs and Psychotropic Substances”, as part of the University’s efforts to enhance social and educational awareness among students and reduce negative phenomena.

The seminar was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nada Sami Al-Gawam, Dean of the College of Education, and Dr. Ratib Rahim Khudr Al-Ajajibi, Assistant Dean of the College of Education, along with a number of faculty members and students.

The seminar was presented by Mr. Hussein Hamed, who addressed several key topics, including the role of students in raising awareness about the dangers of addiction, methods of preventing drug abuse, and the importance of promoting educational values and positive behaviors within the university environment.

At the conclusion of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Sarhan Al-Ghazi, President of Sawa University, honored the lecturer in recognition of his efforts in delivering this awareness-raising seminar, reaffirming the University’s commitment to supporting scientific and educational activities that contribute to building a socially aware community equipped with scientific knowledge and strong ethical values.
