Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Mudhir Abdullah Al-Dhalimi, the President of Sawa University, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Sarhan, and the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hassan Rahim Khudr, the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Department of Dental Technology, organized a scientific field visit entitled “Scientific Field Visit to the Specialized Dental Center in Al-Muthanna Governorate” on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

The visit included an opportunity for first-year students of the Department of Dental Technology to learn about the latest equipment and technologies used in the fields of dentistry and dental technology. The students also became acquainted with the types of materials used and the methods of handling them within a real work environment.
The visit was characterized by significant interaction with the specialized staff at the center, who kindly provided a practical demonstration of the process of manufacturing a removable denture, giving the students the opportunity to observe the practical steps directly and enhance their practical skills.
This visit is part of a series of scientific activities aimed at preparing qualified students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to keep pace with the requirements of the labor market.
