The President of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate Rewards Prof. Dr. Ghanim Najeeb
The President of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Mr. Mu'ayyad al-Lami, rewarded Prof. Dr. Ghanim Najeeb Abbas, a member of our University Council, in appreciation of his distinguished efforts during his fifty-year media career.
This came during a celebration held by the Syndicate to mark the fifty-fifth anniversary of the publication of Al-Riyadi newspaper.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Ghanim Najeeb began his journalistic career in 1976 and continues to do so. He is a member of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, the Arab Journalists Union, and the World Journalists Organization since 1977, the Iraqi Sports Press Union, and a member of the founding committee of the Students Club 197 and its administrative committee from 1983 to 1989. He is a graduate of the first session of Al-Tadaman School - Baghdad for the qualification and training of journalists / Baghdad 1980. He participated in the Third Forum of Arab Sports Journalists - Arab League - Tunis 1983. He is the head of the sports section of Sawt Al-Talaba magazine, Al-Talaba wal-Shabab newspaper, and Alif Baa magazine. He is a correspondent for the Jordanian Sports Magazine and the Egyptian Al-Arab Stadium newspaper. He is a member of the media committee of the Arab Judo Federation, managing editor of Alam Al-Riyadh newspaper, and editor-in-chief of Al-Warka, Al-Wathiqa, and Al-Qabas Sports newspapers.
