The Department of Medical Physics and Radiotherapy at the Technical Engineering College—in cooperation with the Department of Student Activities—organized a scientific workshop titled "Training Students in Designing Engineering Projects that Serve Society" at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 24, 2025.
The session was chaired by Lecturer Dr. Ali Jawad Kazim and moderated by Rapporteur Attallah Bani Hammoud. During the workshop, student Hussein Abdul-Yasser delivered a detailed presentation of his project, "The Smart Home," explaining how its application reduces energy consumption while optimizing usage. Meanwhile, student Yasmin Ali Jumah presented an explanation of her project, "Nerve Sensor Device," highlighting its effectiveness in treating neck and back pain, as well as its compact size and user-friendly design.
