The workshop focused on breast cancer screening in postmenopausal women through regular monthly self-examinations, recommending a fixed date each month for performing the assessment. Additionally, the session highlighted that routine mammograms (typically every two years after age 50) and regular clinical evaluations are vital for early detection. Speakers emphasized the importance of women becoming familiar with the normal look and feel of their breasts to promptly identify any abnormal changes, such as new lumps or swelling.
