To mark the start of the new academic year, and in accordance with the curriculum prepared by the Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, the Department of Medical Physics and Radiotherapy, in cooperation with the University Psychological Counseling and Student Activities Unit, held an educational seminar entitled "University Student Rights and Responsibilities." The seminar took place at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, and was attended by:
1- Lect. Dr. Ali Jawad Kadhim - Chairman.
2- Lect. Ataallah Bani Hamood Bani - Lecturer.
3- Asst. Lect. Sajad Majid - Rapporteur.
The seminar addressed the rights of university students, which include equitable access to education, freedom of expression within established guidelines, access to student services, and fair evaluation. Student responsibilities included adhering to university regulations and bylaws, respecting university staff, maintaining university facilities, refraining from cheating, and maintaining regular attendance. These rights and responsibilities form the basis of the relationship between students and the educational institution to ensure a healthy academic environment.
