The seminar addressed the Federal Integrity Commission Law in Iraq (No. 30 of 2011 and its amendments), which constitutes the principal legislation governing the work of the independent body responsible for combating corruption. The seminar discussed the Commission’s role in conducting investigations into corruption cases, promoting a culture of integrity, monitoring illicit enrichment, requiring public officials to disclose their financial interests, and establishing ethical codes of conduct to ensure proper professional performance.
The seminar emphasized that these measures contribute to strengthening transparency, integrity, and accountability, thereby enhancing citizens’ confidence in government institutions.
