On the occasion of Global Entrepreneurship Week, and in implementation of the program approved by the Deanship of the College of Law, the Department of Law, in cooperation with the Departments of University Psychological Counseling and Student Activities, held a scientific seminar entitled “The Impact of Amending Legal Legislation on Sustainable Development” at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

The seminar emphasized that amending legal legislation is an essential tool for promoting sustainable development, as updated laws ensure environmental protection, regulate the use of natural resources, support equitable economic growth, and safeguard social rights.
It also highlighted that legal reform and the development of legislation contribute to creating a safe and stable environment for investment and strengthening legal and judicial certainty. This, in turn, enhances confidence and drives comprehensive development across various sectors.
