the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques, held a scientific workshop entitled “Nosocomial Infections in Hospitals” at 12:00 noon on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

The scientific workshop addressed nosocomial infections among hospitalized patients, focusing on methods of preventing and controlling these infections and the most common diseases and complications that may occur following infection. It also discussed the bacteria responsible for these infections, particularly those that exhibit resistance to multiple types of antibiotics, as well as clinical cases that have been studied in relation to this topic.
