Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Mudher Abdullah Al-Dhalimi, the President of Sawa Private University, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Sarhan, and the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Raheem Khadir, the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies held a scientific workshop on laboratory safety during the use of laboratory equipment.
The workshop took place at 12:00 PM on Sunday, March 4, 2026.
The workshop was presented by:
1- Dr. Saif Ali Abdulmajeed (Lecturer)
2- Dr. Alaa Kadhim Hameed (Chairman)
3- Mr. Muhannad Jassim Dhajar (Rapporteur)
The workshop addressed the safety and protection of laboratory staff, infection control, and understanding laboratory levels according to each specialization, as well as the permissible range for each laboratory level in terms of diagnostics and analyses performed within the laboratory, based on the permissible level.
